Portugal | 10-Apr-24 | Looking for a broad assortment of both traditional style and modern style reds and whites - third party accolades are an asset for this category. Primary price band is $14-$30 for red and $13-$25 for white. |
New Zealand White | 10-Apr-24 | All varietals, styles and blends with a focus on premium Sauvignon Blanc ($24-$40), Chardonnay, and Pinot Gris from well known brands or well-accoladed. $18-$40. |
Emerging Europe | 17-Apr-24 | Red and white still wines from Georgia, Romania, Armenia, Moldova, Lebanon and Bulgaria. All varietals with a preference for indigenous varietals and regionally specific wines. $15-$35. |
New Zealand Reds | 17-Apr-24 | Primarily Pinot Noir between $20-$35. Only minor interest in Hawke's Bay Boardeaux blends and Syrah priced under $30. |
Chile | 24-Apr-24 | All varietals, styles and blends. Preference for $17-$25, well known brands and strong accolades. |
Please note that if a wine is successful through the first round of submission with the LCBO, tasting samples of the same vintage will be required for the next step of the application process.
